Financial Accountant (Amsterdam, 32-40 hours)

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance department, a very dynamic and international team. You will report to the Senior Accountant.

The Finance department is responsible for the maintenance of the company’s financial health. This department manages the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, they are taking care of the reporting and financial statements and the financial controls.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in Month End Closing process
• Preparation of intercompany invoices
• Processing credit card statements
• Bank statements reconciliation
• Processing of bank transactions and preparations of payment batches
• Preparation of VAT statements (for the Dutch and Swiss entities)
• Monthly reconciliation with GL and banks accounts
• Preparation of the cashflow report
• Assisting in the external audit for 4 legal entities

Interested? These are the job requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in bookkeeping/accountancy
• Available for 32- 40 hours a week
• Punctual, with strong analytical skills
• Detailed-oriented personality with focus on continuous improvement
• Helpful and a teamplayer
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a pre)
• Proven ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Standard computer skills, advanced in Excel
• Experience with a ERP system (Exact Online is a plus)
