ABOUT THE JOB

The Business Controller is responsible for directing the accounting activities related to the operations at UltiMaker. The controller will be responsible for submitting budgets, forecasts, coordinating audits and analysis of operations and ensure compliance with corporate policy and accepted accounting practices.

You will be part of the Supply Chain & Manufacturing team, reporting to the VP Global Operations.

• Supporting the Supply Chain & Manufacturing manager in reporting monthly results and optimizing inventory control;
• Identifying (process) improvements to be more in control and taking action in coordination with various stakeholders;
• Evaluating and assessing process execution and daily planning based on your analyses;
• Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data to support projects and customer requests;
• Preparing clear and accurate reports for both management and external stakeholders;
• Calculating costs for new products;
• Annual budgetting;
• Assisting in business cases for investments;
• Annual accountant support, process pre-audit;
• Support and approve Business cases for one-off initiatives;
• Support S&OP process, flag concerns if required;
• Drive lean processes improvements by the team, and flawless ERP setup and reporting;
• Business partnering in various (continuous improvement) projects.

ABOUT YOU

• A completed HBO or WO degree in a financial field;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar environment;
• You are analytically strong and thrive in a dynamic environment;
• Familiar with financial models and proficient in Excel skills;
• Experience in the logistics or manufacturing industry is a plus;
• Preferably, experience with Microsoft D365;
• Ability to share your thoughts and to work with colleagues from different backgrounds;
• Must be self-driven and able to work autonomously;
• Team player, critical and motivating;
• Result driven, driving accountability;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in English and Dutch.
