You and your job As a Senior Hedge Accounting Specialist, you will ensure seamless centralized hedge accounting (HA) activities for the entire Group, maintaining Rabobank's top-notch standards. You will cultivate relationships with stakeholders, actively engaging in cross-functional team projects to refine HA processes, efficiency, and controls. Beyond your team, you'll collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Control, Markets, IT, and Internal/External Audit. Practical Examples Analyse monthly hedging derivatives P/L movements after application of HA and prepare the monthly management report. Review and improve controls of our robust control framework. Address ad-hoc requests, such as EBA and IRRBB data queries. Facts & Figures 36 hours per week. Thrive on solving complex problems. Quick grasp of new concepts, fast learner. Take ownership, deliver excellence, maintain accuracy with a keen eye for detail. Completed relevant 'Masters' degree (RA or RC preferred). Strong familiarity with interest rate derivatives. Over 5 years of finance and control experience, minimum 2 years in wholesale banking. Knowledge and experience in IFRS, especially IAS39 and IFRS 9. Ideally, prior experience in HA within the banking industry. Salary will be set by comparing experience levels with our internal workforce and will be indexed in 2024 accordingly to new CLA. Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
