As a senior buyer professional services, you will consolidate procurement activities from the ground up. You will develop category strategies and execute improvement projects. Building strong relationships with Senior Executives within Rabobank Globally will be crucial as you strive to achieve best-in-class outcomes for the organization.

You will work on a strategic and tactical level, with the autonomy to take ownership of your results and drive excellence in cost, technology, and quality within Rabobank’s consulting and legal landscape. Managing around € 250 M spend, the potential for delivering cost benefits to the category is substantial, as you will consolidate procurement activities from the ground up. You will shape and deploy category strategies and execute improvement projects. Building strong relationships with Senior Executives within Rabobank Globally will be crucial as you strive to achieve best-in-class outcomes for the organization.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various banking divisions, ensuring the successful implementation and execution of procurement initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

• Take ownership of initiating, drafting, validating, signing off, implementing, and executing the procurement strategy within the broader strategy set by the PVM Leadership team.
• Focus on strategic sourcing, risk management, reporting, and commercial negotiations together with the Senior vendor manager, professional services, and business departments.
• Develop, lead, and maintain expert knowledge of the professional services commodity (industry trends, supplier landscapes).
• Collaborate with stakeholders on a strategic and tactical level, acting as a trusted partner to understand their business needs and objectives

You and your talent

You are a senior procurement professional, with significant working experience in a large corporate environment (Financial Services is highly regarded). You either are a subject matter expert within this category or have the ambition to learn more about the diverse commodities, combined with your procurement experience. In this position, you will have the chance to reshape the procurement landscape. With mature procurement skills, organizational sensitivity, and strong stakeholder management skills you are able to realize impact. You also require at a minimum:

• Completed bachelor’s- or master’s degree.
• Certification or active pursuit of certification in CIPS/NEVI or equivalent procurement certification.
• Proven ability to initiate, draft, validate, sign off, and execute procurement strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships with suppliers to deliver services
• Experience in cross-functional teams and first-class interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

This is what we offer you

• a gross salary between € 4.848,64 and € 6.926,62 per month (scale 10)
• thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• an extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings, or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out
• a pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5% or 5.5%
