Job Description

For our Manufacturing Site in Oss, The Netherlands, we are looking for a:

Maintenance & Reliability Engineer

The position

Technical expert within Facility Management, responsible for asset reliability during the entire life cycle of utilities and facilities. To be consulted by the operational team for (non-operational) technical issues. Sets standards within Facility Management and initiates and contributes to the implementation of technical improvements on assets, utilities, facilities and systems. Ensures the required level of technical expertise is available. Ensures that equipment, utilities, facilities and systems comply with technical, EHS and GMP procedures & guidelines.

Responsibilities

Team performance

  • Ensures with his team, safe and compliant maintenance of all assets within the IPT.

  • Ensures optimal maintenance plans and spare part strategies for all assets, enabling risk based asset reliability.

  • Ensures optimal reliability of all assets within the FM during the entire life cycle.

  • Ensures full compliance of all assets within the FM to GMP and EHS standards, including all related compliance documentation.

  • Initiating, guiding, executing RCAs with (multi) Teams.

  • Ensures compliant availability and efficient maintenance of all systems that are used within FM

  • Create, implement and optimaize Asset Management policy/strategie for the site FM

  • Technical improvements plans

  • Identify, analyse and prioritize technical business related needs within FM scope and translate these into the FM Long Rage Capital portfolio. Maximizing technical delivery reliability during the asset life cycle.

Proposals/business cases

  • Formulate proposals / business cases for technical improvement projects (LRCP) including deliverables and planning for the development and implementation of proposed improvements.

Realised Projects

  • Initiate, steer and/or participate in projects in line with the defined project execution plans.

  • Realiseproject objectives, improving the compliance and/or safety performance, or business efficiency.

Realized Changes

  • Formulate change management proposals and authorize changes according change control and management of change procedures.

Budgeting

  • Compiling an annual budget for special maintenance and a multi-year plan for investments

  • Takes care of the realisation and timely delivery of the LRCP (cash flow planning of the FM projects).

  • Maintaining, monitoring and monthly reporting of both budgets; Opex, and Capex.

Expertise and advice

  • Initiate, develop and ensure implementation of knowledge, standards, procedures and guidelines regarding assets and their reliability during their life cycle.

  • Allign with other Maintenance and Reliability Engineers on (site) reliability strategy.

  • Allign with relevant stakeholders of the CMMS, QMS and EHS standards.

Administration and documentation

  • Ensures compliant documentation, trending and periodic reporting of asset performance. Owner of Asset Manageemnt dashboards for the FM scope.

  • Point of contact M&RAct as a single point of contact of FM for all maintenance an reliability related topics both internally and externally.

EHS Responsibility

  • Responsible for the realization of our corporate policy on safety, health and environment. Demonstrate personal commitment with respect to working safely, healthy and environmentally friendly.

  • Is responsible for adherence to safety standards for all assets.

Required education, experience and skills

Educational background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical/engineering direction or another relevant field of study;

  • At least 5 years of maintenance & engineering and project management experience, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment;

Skills and Competences

  • Good prioritizing skills and being able to make a just decision also in case of (time) pressure

  • Strong focus on safety, quality/compliance and clients.

  • Innovative abilities, strong drive to improve

  • Teamplayer

  • Good communication skills both oral as in writing in Dutch and English

  • Good people management skills, preferably relevant managerial experience
