Rabobank is in the middle of a journey implementing an Enterprise Data Lake platform in the cloud. And you can be a valuable part of it!

We see collaboration as the best way to deliver strong results. We use Scrum as an agile way of working in our Tribe. Our Squads join forces to support the bank-wide organization with data logistics solutions. We bring together talented people to work on our data systems, including data warehousing, Hadoop and Azure cloud. Our Area (Customer Analytics) consists of about 100 T-shaped colleagues.

Your role

You get excited by building Azure Cloud platforms, setting up Azure DevOps pipelines and automating solutions to provide a Azure Data platform on which your Data Engineer colleagues will be able to build their data logic (f.e. using DataFactory/Synapse Workspaces and so on). The squad in which you will take a role focusses on using cloud native components. You will also be an important component in helping out colleagues in defining their build/release logic (prepare pipelines to deploy SQL logic, ADF or Synapse publishes etc.). Besides the building aspect, a part of the role is to deliver pieces of a design used by the Solution Architect. As well as delivering some form of support for the platforms which are delivered.

Your experience and competencies

You have experience in using the concepts/components in a production environment:

  • Automation through scripting (Powershell, Azure CLI)
  • Knowledge of Zero Touch
  • Knowledge of Defense in Depth
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust
  • Build and deploy with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML)
  • Knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM)
  • Knowledge of Source Control (GIT/Azure Devops)
  • Azure certificates AZ-104 and AZ-700 is a plus

The competences we would like you to have:

  • Eager to learn new techniques
  • Enjoy to teach and share knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Good communication skills(both in English and Dutch)
  • Strong collaboration with other roles in the Scrum team

  • up to € 5655.00 gross per month (scale 9) (based on 36 hours), 40 hours is possible

  • a budget of € 750, setting up your home workspace and a monthly homework allowance of up to € 40, -

  • combination of working from home and in the office
  • 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport
  • A pension scheme to which you contribute 3.5%
  • 151.2 hours of holiday per year + 1 Diversity Day per year
