Job Purpose

• Advises Senior management on the Finance & Source-to-Pay IT roadmap in relation to finance applications for invoice to pay (I2P); • Manages the functional design for I2P applications; • Manages standardization of financial master-data within I2P applications; • Manages the governance w.r.t. I2P application changes & projects and manages the impact of changes & projects of other systems impacting I2P due to system integration; • Manages process & report standardization in I2P systems and makes proposals for a continuous improvement agenda; • Embeds the I2P system process design in the organization and ensures an in-depth knowledge transfer to key-users (train-the-trainer concept); • Process Owner of Accounts Payable Suite (SAP Vendor Invoice management).

Responsibilities

Responsible for Finance Systems • Manages the financial processes in the global I2P systems and ensures alignment with the business requirements • Manages the related financial master data objects in the global I2P systems, monitors compliance and maintains data definitions & guiding principles • Participates in and initiates new changes (improvements) for the I2P systems (projects & change requests) to safeguard the financial process design, performs fit/gap workshops, monitors user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensures completeness of UAT test scripts • Reviews and approves for I2P system change requests impacting the functional process design as well as master data changes • Drives continuous improvement plans relating to I2P system processes (standardization, harmonization, effectiveness & efficiency improvements) including interfaces from/to connected systems • Translates SCOA , IFRS (webFEM ), organizational changes and new business requirements into requirements for I2P systems process design updates / improvements • Embeds I2P systems process design within the organization by: • Identification of training needs by measuring major gaps between process design and actual practice • Setting-up training programs to improve the in-depth knowledge of the system process design (train-the-trainer concept) • Developing standardized training modules for new key-users / end-users • Develops and maintains operational & management reporting procedures by • Optimizing, standardizing and harmonizing existing reports and reporting functionality • Implementing tooling to automate processes • Including I2P reporting in training programs • Integrates financial system process design with functional (system) process designs of other disciplines (especially Purchase-2-Invoice and Vendor Master Data) • Provides, from finance systems perspective, functional direction, training and support to I2P process champions, regional process delivery leads I2P, accounts payable leads and other I2P related functions. • Works independently within operational plans and policies • Leads finance system related discussions and takes decisions (within given boundaries) on how to continuously improve the functional finance system process designs (“drives the Finance IT roadmap”)

What do you bring?

• High level knowledge of financial accounting & reporting (master in economics or similar) • High level knowledge of source to pay & invoice to pay processes is a must • High level knowledge of SAP FI & MM modules is highly preferred as well as knowledge of I2P tooling • More than 7 years of relevant working experience • Ability to translate business processes into system processes • Ability to translate business information requirements into system reporting solutions • Dare to be critical (positive way) and dare to challenge and ask questions • Enthusiasm and motivation/eagerness to learn and perform • Results oriented • Positive attitude and good in dealing with complexity (strong analytical skills) • Strong (interest) in process development and project management • Ability to manage at all levels relationships like BU/regional management, corporate Finance departments, corporate IM (esp. Solution Architects and application managers), GBS, etc. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with(in) international, multi-cultural and cross-functional teams • Drive for continuous improvement & strong change management capabilities • Travelling world-wide might be required (max. 15% of the time) • English language (fluent)
