Change & Engagement Manager
(Based in Eindhoven, regular travelling)

“Renewi’s Fit for the Future' encompasses the business transformation to a waste to product company to support our contribution towards a circular economy, by harmonizing Renewi's business activities across our divisions on a standard 'Digital Core' of systems, data, and processes for the benefit of the business. To steer the design and implementation of the 'Digital Core,' and the related business harmonization and changes effectively, a Change & Engagement is indispensable.

You will shape, drive and roll out the change management strategy to prepare all Renewi divisions for this transformation.

Your new team:

You will become part of the Group Transformation department and work closely with the Transformation Director, Project Managers, Communications and Global Business Process Owners. You will report directly to the Transformation Director and lead the Communications Manager and Change & Engage Analyst.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

In this role, you will define and lead the appropriate change approach to achieve the transformation vision of the programme. you will monitor and communicate the substantive and organizational coherence between all changes taking place, identify potential bottlenecks, and advise on an approach to executing the project portfolio that leads to a manageable degree of change. You will:

• Work closely with the Transformation Director to ensure the aims of the Change Management engagement strategy are implemented at the program level.
• Coordinate and lead the development and delivery of program engagement plans and projects; working closely with program teams, network groups, and your communications colleague to design interventions that progress the overarching strategy.

What makes you the Change Management Officer we are looking for?

• You enjoy working in a dynamic, complex, political, and rapidly changing organization where you believe in the approach of showing, doing together, and doing it yourself. You have great ambitions for Renewi but can take small steps and appreciate these successes.
• You have a university-level education and at least 5 years of experience in change and project management, transitions, and cultural change within a multinational organization. A consultancy background is a plus.
• It is your passion to influence key business stakeholders as well as employee behaviour to achieve the desired organization changes.
• You are communicatively skilled from the boardroom to the shop floor, seeking connection, and driving movement.
• You have a pragmatic approach with a structured and rational (fact-based) approach, understanding emotions and resistance.
• You have a high degree of sensitivity, empathy, and political acumen.
• Your knowledge of both Dutch and English is excellent.
• You are willing to travel to various locations within Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Last but not least, you have an affinity with our mission 'waste no more.'
