Kramp’s Tech teams discover and build e-commerce & data science solutions that are aiming at giving the ag-tech industry a push forward. We’re building a multi-tenant microservice platform, serving thousands of customers and generating a turnover of one billion euros per year. The product is stable and allows us to focus our attention on new feature development. Tech teams are also creating added value in domains such as Operations, Finance, HR and Procurement by delivering new functionalities. Besides working on products also an amount of projects are running. In the upcoming years a lot of project deliveries are foreseen.

The role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join the tech organization in the role of Technology PMO. The role involves overseeing and optimizing project management processes, providing support to project managers and ensuring efficient execution of projects with Technology and across other domains.

You will also act as the link between the project organization and the newly formed model of product teams and the Group PMO. During monthly alignment meetings with the product teams and Group PMO you will act as the representative of the project organization within Technology.

Key responsibilities:

  • Project management support: Assist project managers in planning, executing and monitoring projects by maintaining project documentation, tracking progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budget. Also facilitate the WBSO grants process.
  • Process improvement: Collaborate with the Group PMO to develop and implement project management best practices, tools and methodologies and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Reporting: Generate reports and analysis on project performance for management and Group PMO, risks and facilitate informed decision making by management.
  • Resource capacity planning: Oversee and maintain the resource capacity planning and stay aligned with all departments within the organization, including functional teams, operations and product teams.
  • Stakeholder communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders and leadership ensuring alignment and transparency throughout project lifecycles.
  • Be the central point of contact & escalation point for substantive contractual issues and support where applicable in managing contracts together with the procurement organisation.

In this role you will be exposed to working with various international people from our Technology department, business departments and suppliers. On a daily basis you will work closely with the Product Owners, Project Managers, Head of Group PMO and your manager, the Director Strategic Projects & Integration.

Who are you?

You have a hands-on mentality and 5+ years of experience working as a PMO, project manager, or portfolio manager. You are available for 32-40 hours per week (mainly based in the office in Varsseveld, with occasional visits to Utrecht and our European locations).

Besides, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience with portfolio management and working in an agile way;
  • Experience with PMO tooling implementation and usage of PMO tooling
  • Completed Master’s degree;
  • Project management certification in PMP, Prince2 practitioner, IPMA-A/B or equivalent is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch is considered a nice to have;
  • Used to working with IT-systems & procedures (e.g. JIRA, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.);
  • Financial savvy, strong organizational and decision-making skills;
  • Experience in working in an international environment.
