WittKieffer and Southcoast Health have partnered in the national search for an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (EVP/CFO). This is an exciting opportunity to join a comprehensive, integrated, community-focused health system that is transforming healthcare and poised for growth over the next decade.

Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit, fully integrated, community health system providing services throughout southeastern MA and RI. With more than $1.3 billion in annual net revenue, Southcoast includes three acute care hospitals, two cancer centers, six urgent care centers, a visiting nurse and home health association, and outpatient and ambulatory sites throughout the region. Reporting to the newly appointed President and CEO, David McCready, the EVP/CFO will lead the health system’s financial operations including finance, accounting, treasury, revenue cycle, insurance, risk management, contracting, payor relations and supply chain. The EVP/CFO will play a key collaborative, advisory role in operational excellence and performance improvement activities to enhance overall efficiencies through benchmarking and standardization. The EVP/CFO will ensure there is financial rigor and seamless coordination of business plans, pro forma development, and all growth-related activities.

The selected EVP/CFO will possess a minimum of 15 years of financial leadership experience within a large, complex health system, healthcare industry public accounting or financial consulting for large health systems. The EVP/CFO must have experience in a progressive and growing organization. A graduate degree in business administration, health care administration, management, or related field is required.
