Are you an all-round risk professional who enjoys managing complex IT and business projects as stakeholder requirements become increasingly complex? Or are you an experienced (IT) auditor considering a move into consulting? Do you want to help clients optimise and transform their business processes or advise them on new laws and regulations related to technology and risk? Then you are the Manager Technology, Risk, and Control we are looking for!

What will you be doing?

As a Manager Technology, Risk, and Control, you will work in multidisciplinary teams to help our clients successfully execute Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance assignments. You will work with a team of problem-solvers with extensive consulting and regulatory experience, helping our clients solve complex business problems from strategy to execution. In this role, you will advise both public sector organisations and large corporates on managing risk and assessing controls in an increasingly complex environment. As part of our international and inclusive team, you will also advise on changing IT laws and regulations. You will be involved in the whole process, with different parts under your coordination and direction. You will also work closely as part of a team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on issues relating to processes and (IT) risks.

  • Advising high-end clients to better deploy their digital infrastructure, using automated controls and monitoring to enhance their risk management.

  • Guiding clients in implementing new IT systems with appropriate ‘controls by design’. 

  • Working as part of a team, mapping operational and IT processes and making recommendations to implement improvements, such as more efficient and targeted controls.

  • Working as part of a team, providing advice to senior management based on analysis and research.

  • Coaching (junior) colleagues so that they can develop the necessary skills and content knowledge.

  • Coordinating and managing projects, taking into account interests and stakeholders, such as compliance, cybersecurity, legal, end users, and internal PwC stakeholders.

  • Staying up to date with the latest developments in digital tools, innovative solutions, and market trends.

You are a talented and ambitious Governance, (IT) Risk Management, and Compliance professional and take responsibility for your own career and development. You enjoy learning about new technologies and helping clients get the most of them. The combination of practical work and intensive client contact appeals to you. You enjoy working in a team, coaching team members and contributing to their development. You work meticulously and are able to take a wide range of stakeholders into account in your work. In addition, you are able to create powerful reports, visuals, and presentations for (senior) management. 

  • You have at least six years of relevant work experience in developing and implementing risk control frameworks, compliance assignments and other IT/digital projects in the area of Governance, (IT) Risk Management, and Compliance.

  • You understand the importance of risk management and controls within organisations.

  • You have a passion for the latest technologies and are able to easily master them.

  • You have a completed university master’s degree in Information Management, Innovation Management, Technical Business Administration, Business Administration, or another Business/IT-oriented study, and preferably also an advanced degree (e.g. RO, RA, or RE), or you are willing to obtain one.

  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English and can adapt easily to changing work environments.

  • You are able and willing to travel, sometimes within the Netherlands and sometimes abroad, as required by an assignment.

  • Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, such as Power BI, Alteryx, UiPath, Tableau, or Dataiku is an advantage.

  • Experience with and knowledge of (IT) laws and regulations is an advantage.
