Accounts Assistant

For one of our valued clients in Amsterdam, active in the logistics sector, we are searching for a suitable candidate for the position of Accounts Assistant (m/f/x).

Tasks and responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant in Amsterdam:

  • Monthly timely closure of the accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Booking and reconciling bank statements in the banking system
  • Cleaning up the sub-ledgers of receivables/payables from ICO offices
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks
  • Maintaining contacts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Auditing receivables and payables, ensuring integrity in the books
  • Monthly creation of reports for receivables and payables, with follow-up
  • Timely payment or collection from IC offices
  • Auditing payments to and from the IC offices with the administration
  • Updating the sub-ledger of receivables and payables for IC offices
  • Timely registration of payments and claims, including IC offices, in the administration
  • Keeping in touch with IC stakeholders via email and phone
  • Booking payments and claims, including IC offices, in the administration
  • Effectively organizing and prioritizing work with good time management
  • Processing ICO arrangements in Oracle and assisting in month-end closing
  • Knowledge of the Oracle system
