We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager Pharma to join our team in the brand new Maasvlakte warehousing facility at Maersk.

This position plays a pivotal role in upholding the integrity and safety of pharmaceutical products throughout the distribution chain. By meticulously overseeing and implementing Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards, this role ensures that medicinal products reach patients in a safe and effective manner. The purpose is to safeguard the quality, efficacy, and safety of medicinal products, thereby contributing to the overall well-being of patients and maintaining Maersk’s reputation for regulatory compliance and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

* Implement and maintain a quality management system that complies with GDP guidelines

* Manage authorized activities and ensure the accuracy and quality of records

* Develop and implement initial and continuous GDP training programs for staff

* Coordinate and perform recall or return operations for medicinal products as needed

* Handle customer complaints effectively and efficiently

* Approve suppliers and subcontracted activities that may impact GDP

* Perform regular self-inspections following a prearranged program and implement necessary corrective measures

* Ensure that the License Holder is complying with the conditions of the license issued

* Monitor compliance with GDP guidelines and ensure that products are stored under correct storage conditions

* Regularly monitor all named sites and receive reports from the Deputy Responsible Person

* Be vigilant to prevent falsified medicinal products from entering the supply chain * Keep appropriate records of delegated duties and tasks

Requirements:

* Solid experience in a quality management role within the pharmaceutical industry coupled with experience from the logistics industry

* Education in life sciences

* Pharmacy degree is an advantage

* In-depth knowledge of GDP guidelines and regulatory requirements

* Strong leadership and management skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

* Proficiency in computer software and systems (e.g., MS Office, quality management software)

* Experience or interest in having set up a new facility is ideal
