Currently, we are looking for Assembly Business Operations Lead for our Assembly department in Eindhoven.

As the Assembly Business Operations Lead, your primary responsibility is to increase the operational effectiveness of the assembly department. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Director and the Assembly Team in making important decisions and by translating our strategy into clear tactical plans ensuring efficient execution of our operations.

Your expertise will be sought after as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support to the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • A key aspect of your role is converting large-scale plans and improvements into actionable steps, ensuring clear communication within the team.
  • In addition to operational tasks, you will engage with MT ‘members, middle management and Team leads to not only understand the mechanics of the department, but also to cultivate effective leadership practices and enhance our processes.
  • You will also take charge of implementing the plans for the Assembly and ensuring that they align with our overall goals.
  • Facilitating Decision Making and clear communication: Your valuable input and suggestions will aid the Director and Team in making sound decisions.
  • Analyzing Operations: You will observe and analyze current processes and devise strategies to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Supporting the Director: You will support the Director with communication, change management and applicable analysis.

We're searching for an individual who can lead with empathy and a keen eye for enterprise, bringing charisma and a positive influence on our team. The ability to manage stakeholders is a must, and familiarity with assembly and production processes is a bonus.

Focus Areas:

Considering the recent and expected growth of the company and the impact of this on the assembly organization the following areas will be an important focus:

  • Strategic / tactical planning and execution.
  • Operational excellence.
  • Driving and stimulating responsible action holders with regards to the agreed plans and improvements.
  • Providing the analytics support to MT to enhance productivity and process improvements and optimization.
  • Controlling risks, mapping risks and making sure appropriate measures are taken.
  • Improving the internal control of key assembly processes.

Requirements:

Education:

  • You should have a Master or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Additional studies in business, management, finance, or a related field would be beneficial.

Experience:

You should have worked for at least 5 years in a business role, especially in a complex, high-tech industry.
