Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer

As part of the globally active MAXCESS group of companies, we develop, produce and sell solutions for web guiding, web monitoring, winding, slitting and web tension control for the production and processing of material webs (e.g. paper, plastic, metal) as well as rotary tools for the printing and paper processing industry. We have been established on the market for more than 50 years. Today we are active worldwide with production facilities on 4 continents and offer local sales and service support in all major countries. Our products and systems are installed at major companies worldwide.

To strengthen our BENELUX sales team, we are looking for an immediate and full-time

Regional Sales Manager / Sales Engineer (f/m/x)

  • Support of the existing demanding clients and acquisition of new customers through intensive travel activities within the territory from the place of residence (home office) (territory: Netherlands)
  • Assist the organization with market, customer, and competitive intelligence by monitoring developments in your field
  • Competent technical customer consulting regarding applications from conceptual design to order acquisition and after-sales service. An experienced in-house sales and engineering team will support you.
  • Visits to trade fairs in Europe for customer retention and new acquisition
  • Activities that lead to close business relationships such as on-site technical support/small repairs at customers' facilities.

  • Successfully completed technical studies in the field of mechatronics or similar (Diploma or Master)
  • Sound knowledge of electronics as well as knowledge of mechanical engineering, hydraulics and pneumatics are an advantage
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales of industrial capital goods, preferably in field sales
  • Service engineers who would like to move into sales are very welcome as candidates to us
  • Good manners as well as a professional appearance
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of Dutch (native speaker level, C2) and good knowledge of English (B2), both written and spoken
  • Residence in the area of care (preferably central Holland)
