Country Manager Benelux/Site Manager Rotterdam (m/f/d)

To help us continue our growth, we are seeking an experienced manager for our development in the Benelux region as well as our current site in Rotterdam.

As an ideal candidate, you have proven senior management experience in a highly dynamic setting. You’ll work closely with the Group Management including the CEO’s to strategize and develop long-term plans that usher in new levels of productivity and success at Tentamus.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in the laboratory and the Benelux region
  • Proactively guide the development in the region, including the business development, sales, service portfolio and geographic reach
  • Ensure customer-service is a top priority in the laboratories’ daily operations and develop a close bond with existing and new customers
  • Improve operations efficiency of the laboratory and logistics. Streamline the operational processes including the digitalization and automation
  • Support the development, implementation and optimal use of the LIMS and ensure its usage at all levels of the laboratory to improve productivity and profitability.
  • Make sure that cross-selling synergies with other Tentamus laboratories are reviewed and executed, utilizing the unique position of the region
  • Take appropriate measures to improve sales and profit, including hands-on personal commitment in addressing situations
  • Develop and adopt Budgets, KPIs and further tools to support the growth and operational effectiveness of the laboratory and region
  • Manage the profitable integration of new Group members in accordance with strategic goals and decisions / guidelines defined by the board

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years senior leadership role in the appropriate field with at least 5 years of these with full responsibility for P&L and proven financial success.
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, logistics, and HR management
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational process for maximum efficiency and customer service
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
