Key Responsibilities:

• Manages staff, including monitoring employee performance, disciplinary actions, employee relations, and training issues.
  Works with labour providers to ensure performance and safety expectations are complied with, while managing cost.
  Ensures processing of all inbound and outbound cargo/, the yard and equipment is timely and accurate.
  Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
  Coordinates and communicates daily quality, cost, and service objectives to other key areas of the Business unit.
• Has responsibility for the overall performance of the distribution center. Plans, organizes staff, directs, and controls all office and warehouse activities. Assists senior management in establishing warehouse performance objectives and standards. Has accountability for achieving prescribed company objectives with regard to cost, productivity, accuracy, and customer service. Responsible for managing all aspects of customer requirements including, but not limited to, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, P&L responsibility, rate requirements and development of incentive programs.
• Ensures the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, human resources, and equipment in a profitable manner
• Plans, directs and implements warehouse operations, procedures and support to meet prescribed productivity and service levels
• Develops and maintains a productive, motivated workforce by ensuring effective hiring, training and development of distribution center associates. Provides timely and appropriate performance reviews to all direct reports and ensures the same is done for all associates
• Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with all customers (internal and external)Establishes programs to improve customer awareness at all levels in the organization to achieve financial results
• Develops, implements, and maintains appropriate programs to ensure that all safety and housekeeping standards and objectives are met
• Ensures compliance to regulations in regards to safety certification of forklift drivers, and OSHA guidelines
• Procures equipment and facility preventative maintenance services to assure efficient operations of all facets of the Centre Maintains suitable equipment and services to assure security of customer and company asset.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail / fulfilment Warehousing.
• Previous exposure to international operations, and ability to effectively navigate within a diverse, global business.
• Fluent English.
