About The Role We are looking for a Senior Functional Consultant is a seasoned consultant, who can take the lead role for a functional area in a project. This role will have the functional overview of a specific functional area and work with the Solution Architect and other Senior Functional Consultants to ensure functional alignment with the overall solution. The Senior Functional Consultant will also take a role in planning the delivery of a specific area, and work with the Project Manager for this task. Project Related Work- Facilitating requirements gathering and solution workshops, managing requirements and agreeing solution designs with key stakeholders. Collection & analysis of client requirement and business processes, Documentation, mapping the requirements and proposing suitable changes in line with the product.
- Provide solution overview training to business users explaining functionality (Finance and or FlexProperty)- also across various modules and processes within the solution
- Establishing ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes to determine the Gaps’ impact and support the plan for migrating from the ‘as-is’ to the ‘to-be’
- Create documentation i.e., Functional requirement Document (FRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), configuration documentation etc.
- Continually liaise with key stakeholders on the most appropriate design, development and implementation of the integrated solution and business system changes and ensure high quality documentation of GAP resolution
- Work with the Data Track, help determine the data setup, and supporting the datamanagement, migration and archiving of legacy data approach
- Performing application acceptance unit and system testing and supporting user acceptance testing and performance testing.
- Prepare test scripts for testing the configured scenarios. Testing may also include Unit testing,System Integration Testing, Exploratory Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, orany client specific testing.
- Testing the end-to-end product scenarios in line with product standards and resolving issues with the help of technical team.
- Provide end user manual and user training. Support of same, and where necessary coordinating,user training and training material.
- Delivering key project tasks, support / facilitate decision making and manage dependenciesacross blended projects and work-streams
- Providing post implementation production support.
- Participating in project related activities. e.g., Change Requests, Reporting, Communication,Estimation, Workshops, Meetings, RAID management etc. as required
- Manage the team of consultants related to the stream and plan for resources in cooperationwith the Project Manager (depending on the project size and staffing)
- Drive the successful adoption and exploitation of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Lead the facilitation of client workshops & conference room pilots to develop, understand anddocument client requirements
- Define the implementation plan and leading the development of configuration documents
- Configure our client’s application to meet the customer requirements
- Perform Quality Assurance checks for implementations
- Provide ongoing functional support to customers across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 but also developing subject matter expertise for the capabilities of the platform
- Lead and Mentor other members of the team
