For our client, a publicly listed private equity company, we are currently seeking a Finance Director/Manager to join the Operations (OPS) team. Within the OPS team, they are searching for a financial professional with experience in consulting (restructuring/distress). Furthermore, it is crucial (MUST) that you are willing to travel 4 days a week within Europe and are fluent in the Dutch language. As a Finance Director, your role will involve serving as an interim CFO or Finance Director for the acquired companies, collaborating closely with the local CEO/CRO during the turnaround phase. To excel in this position, you should possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be a quick thinker. You must have the capability to construct, assess, and refine financial models and effectively translate these insights into day-to-day solutions. You will be part of the Dutch OPS team in Amsterdam. Routinely lead the finance workstream and/or finance organisation on site Fill interim CFO or Finance Director positions and work closely with the local CEO/CRO during the turnaround process of the portfolio company Understand and analyse the core drivers of the business, develop financial turnaround concepts and lead the end-to-end implementation of the concepts Prepare integrated financial plans and lead forecasting and budgeting processes Implement and improve sound cash management processes and manage liquidity needs on site Prepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset-based funding, credit lines) Manage and improve the relationship to external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisers, banks, credit insurer, etc.) Working as part of a highly motivated, international, committed and agile team that enjoys working together Regular team events and offsites At least 7 years of relevant, international financial or operational restructuring experience gained in consulting, private equity, banking or industry Master's degree in the fields of finance from a reputable university or business school Exceptional entrepreneurship to find and implement creative solutions, energy and drive to solve complex problems as well as resilience during distressed situations Fluent Dutch and English, another European language is a plus So, are you interested in this Finance Director OPS position located in Amsterdam, or do you have any questions?
