China Taiping Insurance (LU) S.A. is China Taiping's European headquarters, which was established in 2022 and will serve high-quality property insurance products for individuals and corporations in the EU. China Taiping Insurance (LU) S.A. seeks a Claims handler.


  • Implementing and improving the claims policies and operating procedures in accordance with the department's responsibilities and requirements.
  • Responsible for processing, reviewing and managing claims within the authority.
  • Responsible for overall coordination and management of the company's claims investigation and negotiation work, establishing an external cooperation mechanism for claims, and building up good cooperative relationships with local loss adjusters and risk survey agencies.
  • Formulated appraisal policies for loss adjusters and cooperative agencies and regularly appraised their performance.
  • Responsible for data analysis of claims and assisting relevant departments in carrying out reserverelated work.
  • Other tasks assigned by leaders.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 3+ years of claim handling experience in a non-life insurance company or 5+ years of experience in a non-life loss adjuster or risk survey agency. For those who are particularly outstanding, the requirement can be relaxed.
  • Deep understanding of local law and regulatory requirements for insurance claims and in-depth knowledge of insurance claim policies, procedures, systems, risk control and management practices.
  • Familiar with non-life insurance companies and loss adjusters in the Benelux region.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong written and spoken skills in English and Dutch. Other languages, such as French, Chinese and German, will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard PC programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and coordination.
  • Organized, autonomous, rigorous and strong execution in work
