Our client is a reputable accounting firm specializing in serving SMEs. Dedicated to excellence, they provide crucial financial advisory services tailored to their clients’ needs. They are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a hybrid basis in The Hague.

Role Overview:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality advice on business economics and tax matters to their clients. Your primary objective will be to create new insights and knowledge-based services, enhancing decision-making processes, and supporting the management of our SME+ clients as a “remote CFO.”

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact and interface between the firm and clients for financial advice.
• Proactively engage and collaborate with clients to address complex issues and develop suitable solutions.
• Serve as an advisor and integrator around financial and tax matters.
• Support companies in their decision-making processes with adequate information, reports, and analyses.
• Manage and support client onboarding, process efficiency, and improvement projects within our firm.
• Define and implement financial strategies tailored to clients’ needs.
• Ensure compliance with local and statutory deadlines.
• Oversee cash flow planning, budgeting, P&L/BS, KPI reporting, financial engineering, and risk/opportunity management.

Candidate Profile:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, economics, or finance.
• Over 5 years of experience in Finance/Controlling/Accouting in a dynamic industry/environment.
• Mobility and flexibility, with the ability to travel 30%+ of the time.
• Proficiency in project and risk management.
• Solid experience with operational finance and building business partnerships.
• Strong understanding of finance and tax guidelines/administration.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch (written and spoken).
• Core values include excellent analytical thinking, customer orientation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with VISMA, KLIPPA, VISIONPLANNER, and PowerBI is advantageous.
