Junior Data Officer M/F

Data Services is part of Investment Administration team within the CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC) within CACEIS NL Branch. CPC specializes in full trade cycle support, administration and reporting services for pension funds, family offices and insurance companies in Europe. In servicing these client groups with a professional and client focused skill set, the CPC acts as extension of the Asset Manager. 

Investment Administration team is dividend in Data Services, Fund Accounting, Front and Middle Office groups and consist of around 40 employees.

Data Services is responsible for setting up static data of financial instruments and their valuation in SimCorp Dimension, which is the administration system used within CPC. The scope of financial instruments is broad, from plain vanilla quoted instruments to complex OTC derivatives. Data Services is also responsible for processing of corporate actions, correctness and completeness of benchmark data and processing of Look Through information (information about underlying investments of investment funds). All this data is used as input for investment administration, compliance monitoring and performance measurement, reports for the Clients, supervisory institutions and fund managers.

Data Services is a point of contact for internal and external users about the delivered data. Beside that Data Services is busy with improvement of processes, projects, for example set up of new types of instruments, new services or expansion of existing services and on boarding of new clients.

What will your activities be as a Junior Data Officer?

  • You will set up static data of financial instruments and take care of their valuation.
  • You will control static data based on the exceptions’ lists.
  • You will control prices of financial instruments based on price checks.
  • You will control corporate actions and book client specific choices.
  • You will control correctness and completeness of benchmark data.
  • You will import prices from Fund Managers.
  • You will insert prices and check manually inserted prices.
  • You will be personally and as a team responsible for ISAE certification of Data Management scope.
  • You will answer questions from the users concerning valuation of financial instruments and their static data.
  • You will think together with team members about possible efficiency in existing processes.
  • You will have contact with internal and external clients, fund managers, accountants concerning to be delivered data.
  • You will work with standardised tasks based on checklist and with questions from other SimCorp Dimension users within our department based on mailbox and Ijrah.
  • You will communicate with Data Management teams in Hong Kong and Paris who deliver us the data.

  • Spoken and written Dutch or English; settled in the Netherlands
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in and English and settled in the Netherlands. Knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
  • Experience in the financial sector or/and experience with SimCorp Dimension is an advantage.
