About Wispex

Established in 1995 as a family-owned business in Pijnacker (NL), Wispex specializes in handling customs clearances and transit documents for mainly forwarding companies and other logistics providers. With a dedicated team of experienced customs declarants, transit specialists and support staff, we ensure timely and professional processing of various customs declarations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom. As an active member of several branch organisation, we constantly monitor the latest developments in customs matters and adapt accordingly

Your role as Head of Sales

At the heart of our approach is prioritizing our clients, making nurturing existing relationships a core aspect of your role. Working alongside clients, our business analysts, the operational teams, and our Finance department, you'll explore avenues to enhance our collaborations. Additionally, you'll lead efforts in acquiring, welcoming, and assessing new clients, which may involve attending fairs and conferences. Ensuring seamless onboarding experiences for new clients will also be part of your responsibilities. As Head of Sales, you'll play a pivotal role within Wispex's management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

What do you bring to the table?

  • degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, etc.).
  • of 5 years of work experience in a sales/account management role in a logistics and/or customs organization.
  • communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients, partners, and colleagues.
  • mindset with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
  • in both Dutch and English languages. German is a plus.
