Part-time CFO needed for an incredible start up MedTech company based out of Eindhoven. The company is at a really interesting point where they are commercially growing. The company provide the missing link in diagnostics and contributes to tailoring the treatment of patients with cancer more closely to the individual patient.

As the CFO you will be responsible for leadership, guidance, and expertise in all aspects of financial management and strategy. The 2 key pieces of experience we need you to posess is fundamentally Audit Control, with a mix of fundraising too. As a part of the Executive team, your role will help build the Dutch organisation, and also in the US from a financial perspective.

The expectation will be 2 days per week, however 3 days may be required in certain periods.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies that align with our long-term goals, assessing risks and opportunities, and providing strategic advice.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to ensure efficient resource allocation and informed decision-making.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, manage audits, and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
• Capital Management: Optimize our capital structure through debt and equity financing to support growth and enhance financial performance.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including those related to currency fluctuations, interest rates, and market conditions.
• Financial Operations: Manage day-to-day financial activities, ensuring the efficiency of processes and systems.
• Strategic Decision Making: Provide financial analysis and insights for major corporate decisions, including potential mergers and strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Relations: Communicate with investors, creditors, and regulators, addressing any concerns regarding financial performance and strategy.

Finally;

• A minimum of 5 years in a CFO or Finance Director role in a demanding (multinational) environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English and Dutch
