Tasks & responsibilities

• Review and coordinate the month end reporting pack including P/L, B/S analysis. Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
• Manage the production of the yearly Budget exercise, eventual periodic forecasts and update of the 5YP
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data recommending plans
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
• Review investment cases for submitting to Group Management
• Participate to the definition of a comprehensive set of KPIs to monitor Business Performance
• Compare actual results vs. approved Business cases (EBITDA, ROCEs)
• Efficiency Plans: promote, follow-up and execute Profit and Balance sheet Improvement actions across the Business Unit
• Analyze functions overheads at Business Unit and Country level
• Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of BU operations
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues together with action plans to management
• Reinforce the use of Hyperion and BPC as Group reporting tools and create/upgrade reports so the financial info is produced semi-automatically for review/analysis
• Seek improvements in the Company's information systems (manual and electronic)
• Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit
• Lead/participate to new projects implementation
• Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Participate to Monthly Business Unit Performance Review meetings

Requirements

• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English, German is considered to be plus
