Business Analyst

Business analysts (BA) at Vion act as a bridge between the business and IT. They analyze and document business processes, the underlying information flows and applications, and gather and document requirements for the business. It may also involve supporting software implementations, by training users, coordinate acceptance tests, etc. Typically, the BA is working on Requests for Change and in projects.

A few activities you’d perform as a Business Analyst: Engaging with stakeholders within/outside our organization to gather information regarding the business processes and document requirements based on that information; If you do not need to travel to a(n) (international) site, you’re managing your assignments from all angles. This can either be at the office or from your own home (hybrid working is no problem); You are actively supporting and/or training (key) users.

SAP ERP project; STIBO STEP Masterdata Management project; MES replacement project.

As a business analyst you will work together with colleagues from the business on challenging IT solutions that directly contribute to these strategic objectives. What do we expect from you?

We're looking for a candidate with at least 3 years experience. Experience of at least one Requirements methodology (IREB, BABOK) or willingness to learn at least one. Experience of BPMN or willingness to learn it. Customer driven, but able to keep the scope of the assignment. You’re analytical. You are capable to plan your day /week according to the needs of your assignments. We are sure that you are able to manage your own time. You completed a HBO or WO study, preferably Business Administration, Business Information or information science. Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, preferably knowledge of the German language as well. Willingness to occasionally travel to production sites (Netherlands, Belgium or Germany).
