Data Quality Analyst

Within the Strategy & Innovation for SME's part of the bank, the data team is hugely influential for progressing towards a data driven way of innovation. The department firmly believes that data is a key asset in today’s financial world. It is our team’s mission to support decision making by data to ultimately help more SME customers. Within our team we have the objective to better understand data; where it comes from, how it is used, what the quality is. We work together with engineering, credit risk, and other teams to continuously unlock new data sources, and improve and optimise our data landscape. In this way, our wider team can access and use analytics in all aspects of their work. What you can expect As a Data (Quality) Analyst we expect you to be the linking pin between business teams that use data to drive their strategy, IT teams that implement applications which both use & produce data, and modelling teams that use data to improve risk models. While working on our data platform, your responsibilities are

to understand the business need for data and translating these needs into actionable data requirements and

making sure data governance/data management processes are in place to guarantee the data quality is fit for purpose. Among other things you’ll be responsible for: Building & maintaining strong data management processes and a robust data quality framework Translate business needs into data requirements based on interactions with business stakeholders Data modelling of the data infrastructure and designing data flows (ETL) What we ask 4+ years of experience in data analysis & data modelling Strong knowledge of and experience with data governance/data management processes ( DAMA-DMBoK ) Know how to build up & maintain a data quality framework Solid understanding of business topics in the financial services industry Experience in translating business needs into actionable data requirements Knowledge of designing data flows ( ETL ), designing data models for data warehouses A can-do mentality; a keen problem solver with an eagerness to innovate SQL Collibra (or other data governance tools) Power BI & DAX Together we achieve more than alone Customer focus and collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Our Strategy & Innovation department brings talented people together to determine the way forward for our financial services and products in the Business Clients realm. The department is divided into several teams that focus on areas like Customer Service, Marketing, Product/Partnership Management, Credit Risk and Data Management.
