What will you be doing? Are you seeking a challenging administrative role where you can specialize in creditor management while also overseeing general ledger (GL) accounting? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? If so, this position is tailored for you! As an All-round Financial Employee with a Focus on Creditor Management at Nearfield Instruments, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining our financial records while ensuring precise GL accounting practices. Specific tasks and responsibilities include: Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Update and maintain creditor information in the system, including adding or modifying details as necessary. Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding invoice inquiries and payment statuses. Record and document day-to-day financial transactions. Reconcile and maintain accuracy in balance sheet accounts. Ensure precise coding and classification of all financial transactions. Verify, allocate, and post transactions to the general ledger. Reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts. Ensure strict adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. Reconcile work in progress to ensure accurate financial representation. What do we require from you? MBO (Vocational) degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting, creditor management, and GL accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
