As a Medior/Senior Compliance Operating Officer in the Compliance Organization and Governance team you are responsible for initiating, facilitating, and strengthening the Global Compliance Function’s internal management and to coordinate, monitor and challenge the progress on the strategic Compliance agenda. By executing a variety of activities, you as a Compliance Operating Officer contribute to the further positioning, development and strengthening of the Global Compliance Function. You and your job The strategic objective of the Global Core Compliance department is to innovate and support the future fit Compliance organization and ensure effective steering and support of the Compliance Function, global policy making, reporting, data solutions and risk identification and risk management. The Compliance Organization and Governance team is part of Global Core Compliance with approximately 40 colleagues overall. Together with your colleagues, you enthusiastically initiate and stimulate the further strengthening of the Global Compliance Function.

Top 4 responsibilities You initiate, monitor, and facilitate the annual year plan cycle and the quarterly performance- & Health-cycle. You take process management to the next level by drafting process descriptions and embedding process management as a concept. You are committed to strengthening risk management within the Compliance Function itself, by carrying out risk assessments, coordinating control testing, maintaining the global compliance risk & control framework, and preparing relevant reports. You and your talent Academic background preferably in Finance, Economics, Law, or Business Administration; At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in a Financial Institution, for example as a consultant or auditor; A completed certified Compliance Professional/Officer education or willing to start this education; Experience with Risk Management, Planning & Control and Process Management; Apply a holistic approach to problem solving, recognizing other perspectives and mutual coherence; Agile, taking initiatives, enjoying new challenges, and knowing how to deal with hard deadlines; Persuading others to adapt to change, acting as a change driver. Combining analytic and professional judgement skills with tact and organization sensitivity; Able and willing to multitask on several assignments at the same time; Preferably having in-depth knowledge of the RCF Archer application; Fluent in English and Dutch. This is what we offer you A gross monthly salary between € 4.292,40 and € 7.307,58 per month (scale 9 or 10 depending on knowledge and experience); Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance; An extra budget of 11% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings, or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out; A combination of working from home and at the office.
