Currently, due to one team-member moving to another position, we are looking for a new colleague who will take on the role of Senior Business Controller. How you will make a difference

You will help us to 'finance change to change finance', by managing financial information and all associated analyses and internal reports. Together with your team You will maintain a network of internal stakeholders to further enhance our role as strategic business partner You will create and improve analysis models for presentations and reports You will gather, analyse and monitor information for the three-year planning, annual budgets and rolling forecasts: also for the offered funds You will improve and support business cases by challenging assumptions which are translated into advice (both solicited and unsolicited) You will support the team in creating and implementing (key) performance indicators to provide steering information for senior and fund management What you will bring Your unique potential and your values matter for us most. To be successful in this role, you will: provide added value by recognizing and expressing improvement opportunities have attention to detail, analytical mindset and capacity to work under stress and tight deadlines be a team player and support our organization's mission Furthermore, it is expected that you will have: Extensive work experience in a similar role, preferably from banking industry or financial institution A strong understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and rulings Highly developed analytic, financial modelling and reporting skills A thrive on critical inquiry, detailed analysis, and the pursuis excellence Excellent command of MS Office Excel, preferably proficient in MS Power Query Knowledge of Exact (Globe) and Tagetik is not required but considered an advantage Good command of English (preferably also Dutch), both written and oral Outstanding communication and social skills, enabling you to effectively connect and collaborate within diverse teams and senior management Your future colleagues You will be part of the Controlling team. The team consists of three senior business controllers, headed by the Director Finance & Control. The Controlling team is considered a strategic business partner by applying advanced analyses and a forward-looking way of working.
