Business Controller

For Vroon in Breda, we are seeking a proactive and independent Business Controller with a ‘can-do’ attitude.

This is the job: As a Business Controller for the livestock division, you will be part of the controlling team and you will be responsible for your own business. In addition, you will also act as a sparring partner for the Managing Director, the Group Controlling Manager and several stakeholders within the organisation.

You will join a team of 2 business controllers where both of you are independently responsible for your own division. Together, you work on further set up and update existing procedures. Your responsibilities will include: Be a bridge-builder among business and finance-related support functions, with independent (financial) views on what is best for the Company as a whole; Partner with and drive the business to achieve short- and long-term objectives; Drive the weekly, monthly, yearly and long-term Financial Planning processes; Drive optimisation and improvement of processes, standardisation of reporting and insight-driven analyses to satisfy the need for management information; Drive the business-review cycles; Participate in business-improvement projects and validate business cases; Identify (business and financial) risks and opportunities; Execute ad-hoc analyses and reporting; Drive cash-flow forecast processes.

What you need: A completed Bachelor or Master education (Finance); Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Financial Control or Business Control; 32 – 40 hours available; Hands-on and pro-active mentality; Critical and pragmatic who takes ownership from start to finish; Good verbal and written communication in English and social skills.
