Challenge yourself and make an impact with Risk Management Young Professional Program at Rabobank. You and your future In just 18 months, Young Professionals learn the fine points ofRabobank'srisk management inside and out. In Risk Management we have a great responsibility ensuring we maintain a strong risk & integrity culture. The Chief Risk Officer domain has more than 3.500 colleagues working across the globe in areas like Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, IT Risk, Market Risk, Climate Risk, etc.We can imagine that it is difficult to know which area to start, so the program is designed to give you a broad view of Risk Management by offering 4 rotations across the domain. You can shape your own future! In addition to day-to-day work, Young Professionals work on side projects and join the Rabobank’s young professional network in a personal development journey. A buddy system provides you with help in finding your way around the bank and join social events. You will also receive coaching from a talent manager. After the program Young Professionals start the rest of their careers as Risk Managers, Data Scientists, Credit Analysts, Specialists Financial Restructuring, Compliance Officers, Change coordinators, Project managers, etc.

Examples of rotations Contribute to our mission ‘Growing a better world together’ in our Climate Risk or Regulatory Adherence teams. Help prevent operational losses in our Compliance, IT Risk or Operational Risk departments. Care for our customers in our client focused departments Credit Approvals and Financial Restructuring and Recovery. As an innovative game-changer, your fresh ideas will help departments change their ways of thinking.

Practical Your development as a young professional To become the specialist in your professional field, in the first 18 months you mainly attend training courses that relate directly to your specialism and that support your talent development. The courses are often given by experienced colleagues or trainers with a track record. You build your network, gain valuable experience and develop skills which will be of use to you later in your career. We also challenge you and other young professionals and trainees to work on various cases and challenges one day a week.

Learning from each other Development is our top priority. Because the best way to learn is by doing, through mistakes and successes. At Rabobank we offer you the right balance between freedom and supervision. To develop talents you never thought you possessed. To specialize in a professional field or explore the things you are good at and enjoy doing. During your Young Professional Program, you can count on us for excellent supervision. You will work with experienced colleagues and have lots of contact with young professionals.
