VersionBay helps companies reduce the risk of migrating to newer software environments, includingJulia.We are looking for a Julia Consultant focused on Scientific computing packages (e.g. DataFrame, Flux, etc…). We closely monitor differences between Julia and package versions and are continuously looking at how to help others better use the tools they have already bought. You will be working directly with customers who need help with Julia code, testing, refactoring, documenting, improving, maintaining, migrating from MATLAB/Python, or simply developing and sharing best practices. Some of our customers will insist on on-site work but many others are happy with remote working. Why Apply

Working with customers and helping them with Julia projects Delivering workshops to customers Creating online content for VersionBay (videos, articles and training courses) Creating Unit Tests Refactoring Code Migrating MATLAB/Python Code to Julia Exploring alternative ways of doing the same thing Presenting results Helping with VersionBay product Development Writing a few technical articles for our website Making short videos of cool new things that trigger your interest Improve the company with all of your skills Qualifications

Working knowledge of git Worked with Julia and some scientific packages for an extended period of time (at least 2 serious projects) Specific domain knowledge in any of the following industries is accepted (automotive, aerospace, semiconductor, data science, finance) MSc in either Engineering (electrical or mechanical), Physics, Maths, Computer Science or Econometrics Fluent in English (written and spoken) This job is perfect for you if you:
