Dutch speaker only The opportunity The purpose of this role is to deliver project management and advisory services for internal and external clients across the built environment sector. You will be involved in client facing projects in Commercial Property, Science Industry & Technology business sectors, with an opportunity to work across a variety of wider building related projects as opportunities arise. As a junior project manager, you make an important contribution to bringing in and executing the diverse and complex projects. You will be deployed for both tenders and project work. You ensure that projects succeed and the goals are achieved through good cooperation and accurate planning monitoring. You will also be responsible for but not be limited to: Coordinating, managing and controlling all activities within projects. Establishing and maintaining relationships with our customers and aligning project objectives with the customer and internally. Identifying and minimizing any risks. Managing and monitoring the engineering team and thus taking responsibility for (co-)drawing up the project plan and applying structure. Developing, managing and maintaining the document control systems on projects/programs by creating a document numerical system, filing of documentation, and gatekeeping of review/control packages. Gathering, electronically logging, and distributing various engineering documents. Maintains established files of drawings and correspondence. Logs and routes interdisciplinary checks and supplier data. Creating and maintaining distribution matrices. Receives, logs and distributes all incoming documents. Uploading and downloading the documentation from client systems and overseeing central master file for all incoming and outgoing documents. Interfacing with project personnel and clients and working effectively in a multi-discipline team. Ensures project document control standards and issued documentation meets the contract requirements. Is this role right for you? To ensure that Arup can continue to deliver top quality, we are looking for candidates who meet at least the following criteria: Completed relevant university education (e.g. Construction Management & Engineering or Civil Engineering at a Technic University). Minimum 3 years of experience in the field of project and/or deign management and document control. Practical work experience on Commercial Property and/or Science Industry & Technology projects. Excellent communication skills in the

and English language

is mandatory. Experience of managing projects for contractors, developers and/or public clients is an advantage. You can work on a project basis and you can move well within multidisciplinary teams. You are able to convey technical information in understandable language both in word and on paper. Possess the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment focused on excellent result. Experience as a member of large project teams working for external clients is an advantage. Strong proficiency in SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat is required.
