Leads the introduction of data analytics solutions (e.g. interactive dashboards / multivariate analyses) to transform fact-based decision making in the division. Conducts second-person reviews of the formal reports of other Center for Mathematical Sciences (CMS) members and ensures accuracy of data used. Builds a strong internal and external network to assure continued statistical and mathematical support. Required Education, Experience and Skills MSc, or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, mathematics, data science, chemometrics, or any related field). At least five to seven years of relevant industry experience in a quantitative consulting role and working with cross-disciplinary teams. A proven track-record with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues, identify causes and recommend solutions quickly. A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both CMS colleagues and internal customers. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred Experience and Skills Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry or a heavily regulated food domain. Extensive statistical experience (e.g. DoE, generalized linear mixed models, statistical process control, multivariate analysis, simulation). Excellent programming skills in R or experience with software like SAS or Minitab. Willingness to further develop in the field of statistics and strong quantitative modelling as well as data analytics. Creative mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data analytics solutions. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively, motivate people, delegate appropriately and resolve conflicts. Flexibility in working hours is needed occasionally, since global support is provided.
