In this role you are responsible for the IT architecture of the Value Cluster Digital Channels Capability in DCBW grid. The Value Cluster of DCBW digitally enables convenience, specialized knowledge and new offerings. By providing customer journeys that exceed the customer experience of new and existing consumer clients in all segments including International. Main focus are is to provide solution for online channel (business clients group). The Value Cluster of DCBW offers relevant propositions and services in the online channels to new & existing customers and creates enhances channel experiences. By integrating the generic capabilities within the channels and ensure end to end customer experience. With the aim to contribute to the digital strategy of the bank and to build a personal bank in the digital age. You will be part of the grid DCBW together with other Domain Architects and a Lead Domain Architect. As an Domain Architect you are a real connector and you put out clear solution content for your colleagues. It is important in this position to monitor the scope in which work is carried out, the technical implementation and quality of these components. You are in conversation with many fields and different functions because you are the pivot for our grid between business and IT. For example, you are a sparring partner for the IT Lead, Grid Owner and Lead Product Owner. The complexity of the position lies in supervising and supporting the DevOps teams, which require in-depth substantive knowledge of the Grid(s). Our new Architect oversees and supervises the quality of the architecture and is able to transfer this information to colleagues. Together you arrive at the right priorities to meet the business demand. An Domain Architect delivers a Solution Intent through technical expertise, long-term vision, product knowledge and soft skills, which ensures simplifications and improvements so that future changes become easier. All work of the Domain Architect is therefore focused on long-term thinking and creating a roadmap for the Value Cluster and works towards the Future State Architecture.

Your job

As a Domain Architect for grid DCBW you will have a strong focus on aspects such as user experience, business and IT processes and technology. This is what we expect from you: You are seen as a leader, who can develop an architecture vision on Digital Channels Business & Wealth Banking. You are pragmatic and realistic, but at the same time set the vision and inspire everyone to follow. You connect the dots and paint the bigger picture. You are part of, and work together within a small team to ensure that consistent architecture guidance is developed and delivered. At the same time you interact with various stakeholders to make sure our deliverables are aligned and adopted. You coordinate and are assertive when it comes to solving dependencies or complex problems. You have good communication and presentation skills to present your point of view to your stakeholders. You are able to oversee a complex stakeholder landscape and are seen as a trusted partner. If required you guide the implementation of future-proof business solutions by using your thought leadership skills. In terms of skills, we are looking for an Domain Architect who has strong knowledge of both IT and business. De Domain Architect knows how to move in the cloud Azure and knows what challenges lie ahead for developers. Our new Domain Architect has in-depth knowledge of the relevant applications, how they contribute to fulfilling the business requirements and of the ABN-AMRO Architecture. The person has knowledge at university level with at least 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience, including 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of system architecting. You have knowledge about: Togaf- Archimate UML Rest API Technology Security standards; user security and application security Azure (hands-on experience) Java Agile DevOps (mindset) You possess the following competencies: Connector Selfknowledge Change Orientation Organizational sensitivity Strong oral communication Strong vision Innovative The mindset of a Domain Architect within our eyes:

Domain Architects are the connectors within IT and business within the bank. You will connect between teams. Domain Architects work towards a clear strategy for our future state architecture within the GRID. A clear vision is required with a clear argumentation and therewith choices. Also there will be thought of a plan of approach how do realize this vision. Domain Architects are up to date of latest IT knowledge within the area of architecture. Domain Architects are there to facilitate delivery teams. They will support where needed and facilitate on the area of architecture. The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits.
