Manufacturing Engineer (Heijen)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will be working on site at our outsourced warehouse in Heijen, the Netherlands. You will fulfill a key position with the aim of ensuring our Mini-Finish and assembly services can be executed by our 3PL. Within the Mini-Finish area you will solve issues, ensure first level support, identify, implement and drive improvements.

Your main tasks will be:

•Ensure seamless Mini-Finish operations

•First contact onsite support for Mini Finish issues, provide hands-on support and troubleshooting of Mini-Finish issues.

•Work with the wider METTLER TOLEDO global network for 2nd and 3rd level support topics

•Perform process analysis and ensure identified improveme

•Perform IT soft-/hardware updates related to Mini -Finish.

•Conduct preventive maintenance to our Mini-Finish devices.nts are implemented in collaboration with the 3PL

•Maintain the local IT network and troubleshoot if required.

•Ensure global alignment of used processes and tools

•Support and drive continuous improvement campaigns and trainings

•Develop, establish and maintain standards (SOPs, WIs) in a close cooperation between 3PL and METTLER TOLEDO

What You Need to Succeed

•You have a bachelor degree in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering or another related subject.

•Minimum 2 years of work experience as a manufacturing engineer within an industrial environment, a production environmentenvironment, or a supply chain environment.

•IT knowledge of networks and related troubleshooting skills

•Understanding of business processes and technical demands.

•Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving skills

•Knowledge of standard tools 8D/CAPA.

•Knowledge of SAP.

•Able to work with MS-Office (Outlook, Power Point and Excel).

•English language skills speaking and writing (must). German and Dutch language skills are a plus.
