Transaction Monitoring Model Specialist

As W&R TM Model Specialist you engage and facilitate activities to make certain that Transaction Monitoring (TM) Models for the various business lines in Wholesale & Rural (W&R) comply with the latest TM Standard and are tuned and enhanced to fully cover the TM risks globally. As W&R TMModel Specialist, you play a key role in the setup, management and maintenance of the W&R TM Risk Model framework. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, which means you are actively involved in Stakeholder Management. Being part of dynamic organisation wherein as your role, you contribute and take responsibility for the continued effective monitoring of the FEC TM Models to ensure and safeguard the model quality. You make a difference Ensuring that the TM Models within various W&R countries are fit for purpose; Supporting ongoing standardization and continuous improvement in TM Model Management organization, framework and processes; Providing operational and continuous oversight in various TM Models and related Model Life Cycle processes; Maintaining a close relationship with relevant stakeholders such as the model developer, the (delegated) risk owner and various Rabobank countries/regions; Maintaining insight in and oversight on how TM is organized across the W&R landscape; Providing input for prioritization and planning regarding TM model maintenance, validation and enhancement; Your ability to translate strategic initiatives into TM models management and related processes; Your ability to write Procedures and Working Instructions as a result of the various TM Models initiatives and improvement in processes; Performing internal Quality Assurance. You will be part of the Global FEC W&R Centre. Our key objective is to support the W&R business lines to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, full standardization and continuous enhancement of the FEC processes in line with regulatory developments.

In addition, it is important that you recognize yourself in the following: Higher vocational or Academic level education, preferably in Economics, Law or Business Administration At least 5 year experience in a financial institution or international company, preferably within the FEC/Compliance related fields and/or Wholesale business Understanding of Financial Economic Crime in general and Transaction Monitoring Controls in particular Preferably, you have experience in developing and maintaining models and translating regulatory requirements into functional designs and/or processes around TM controls You combine decision-making and professional judgement with tact, clear communication and organization sensitivity Fast Learner and can easily adapt to change Well organized, with an operational approach as well as interpersonal skills Ideally, you have some experience with change management and presenting your ideas to stakeholders Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
