Pricing BI Analyst

We are currently looking for a Pricing BI Analyst who acts as the foundation behind the price monitoring, evaluation, and deep-insights generation, empowering the rest of the Pricing department. This dual-facing role will require both a commercial- as well as a technical-mindset. You will be the “first-on-the-ground” when it comes to monitoring trends in performance coming in from the markets and your insights will power the corrective actions of the International Price Management team and Local/Regional Pricing Managers. What is your role?

You will: Execute the monitoring, evaluation, and intelligence generation for commercial performance of the Markets in collaboration with the Int’l Price Management team. Identify desired commercial dash-boarding capability enhancements, continually improving systems and processes. In collaboration with the Pricing BI Manager, conduct periodic structural pricing analysis to monitor price realization and convert the data into actionable intelligence. Spar with both the central and local Pricing teams on key observations and implications on future strategy. Monitor and report on the success of strategic pricing initiatives. Effectively collaborate in a small-team, carrying out the critical functions of Price evaluation, monitoring, and intelligence.

Who are you? Masters in a quantitative field, e.g. Business Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Accounting. 1+ years of experience in a data analytics, data management or a technical pricing role, preferably at a wholesaler. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, etc. Sound knowledge of pricing and discounting strategies. Your technical mindset will enable you to work deeply with BI tools and data as well as coordinate with IT developers in defining the future tools that the Pricing department will need to succeed and grow over time.
