Job Description & Summary Do you (almost) have your research university degree in a business or economics field? Are you eager to express your bright ideas within a large Dutch and international organisation where you'll have many opportunities to develop professionally and personally? PwC offers you a unique opportunity to get started as a Junior Consultant Internal Audit and Control. Are you ready to get your career off to a flying start? What will you be doing? Our goal is to help our clients gain and retain the trust of their key stakeholders. As a consultant, working in multidisciplinary teams, you'll assist our clients to successfully carry out Internal Audit of Risk Management assignments. In that role, you'll advise both public organisations and large corporates on devising their strategy and achieving their goals in a controlled manner in an increasingly complex environment. You do so by conducting analyses and investigations based on their Internal Audit function, assessing risks, or setting up and testing control measures (risk and control frameworks). At PwC you will become part of an international and inclusive team, where you will be involved in the entire process: from the first contact with the client to the presentation of our results. You’ll work with clients as a member of a tight-knit team. Your responsibilities include: providing support to

plan, conduct and report on internal audits

(investigations) relating to operational and IT processes, objects and functions, and being able to make recommendations to our clients on further improvements to their organisation and processes; supervising clients in setting up and implementing risk and control frameworks; advising clients on issues relating to processes and IT and other risks; helping clients to deploy their digital infrastructure more effectively for risk management through automated controls and continuous monitoring. If you start in this position, it also means we have a place for you within our One Assurance Academy. This is PwC's internal academy to give ambitious starters like you a flying start. This academy offers you the unique opportunity, together with a group of starting colleagues from different specialisms and backgrounds, to further develop your soft and hard skills, because at PwC we believe that together you arrive at the best solutions. Does this describe you? You want to expand your knowledge in the field of risks and control measures and keep abreast of all the latest developments. You’re also ambitious and you always want to meet your deadlines. We are looking for a team player who’s a pleasure to work with. You enjoy solving complex problems and creating impact with your specialist skills: you have a master's degree in technical or non-technical business administration, economics or social sciences; you have an affinity with risk management, business processes and IT processes; you can speak and write Dutch and English fluently; you have a critical attitude and an eye for detail; you are proactive and do not shy away from a challenge. What we offer We believe in the power of an inclusive culture and we want everyone to feel free to be themselves. We offer access to the PwC global network, where you can exchange knowledge, ideas, and questions with experienced professionals on Audit & Assurance and also other disciplines. We also offer you: many training sessions and courses that contribute to your personal and professional development; an appropriate salary and extensive terms of employment, including a well-being budget. This is a personal annual budget of EUR 1,000 to spend on your health, for example on mindfulness, sport, lifestyle coaching, and wellness; a fully equipped, ergonomic home office with a second monitor; a monthly Internet allowance; a lease car/car scheme, laptop, and an iPhone 14; 30 days’ holiday a year; hybrid working at the client, at home and at the office; the possibility, within standard working hours, of focusing on Corporate Responsibility, various networks, diversity, innovation and/or recruitment; enjoyable informal activities, including drinks get-togethers, a Christmas party, and a skiing weekend. Getting started at PwC If all this gets you enthusiastic, then let us have your CV and a covering letter explaining why you’re applying and why you’re the right person for this position.
