We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager for our Master Lab in Boxmeer.

Master Lab, a distinguished laboratory within the Nutreco Company, is one of Europe’s top laboratories in the field of animal nutrition.

Located in Boxmeer, the Netherlands, it is the company's largest lab facilities.

At Master Lab, we offer our valued customers an extensive array of analyses, with over 100 of them being certified.

Our laboratory boasts state-of-the-art analytical techniques and is staffed by a dedicated team of over 60 highly skilled and motivated specialists.

Our laboratory is organized into eight specialized analytical groups, encompassing HPLC, LCMS, ICP, Vitamins, Microbiology, Wet Chemistry, and more.

Each group excels in its respective field, ensuring that we provide our customers with top-notch services characterized by high-quality standards, rapid turnaround times, and reliability.

Furthermore, we have established a robust Near-Infrared (NIR) network and a comprehensive database to further enhance our analytical capabilities.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Manager to lead Master Lab.

The Laboratory Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our laboratory facilities.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in laboratory management, exceptional leadership and networking skills, a drive for operational excellence, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

About The Role Laboratory Manager Driving Technological Innovation Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction for the laboratory and align its operations with the organization's goals and objectives.

Optimizing laboratory operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and the highest possible quality of services.

Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing lean methodologies, Six Sigma principles, or other process improvement techniques to streamline laboratory workflows.

Establishing a strong safety culture that emphasizes the importance of health and safety throughout the organization.

Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with other Nutreco labs to foster knowledge sharing, innovation, and operational efficiencies.

Skills and Expertise Qualifications: Ph.

D.

or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., animal nutrition, biology, chemistry).

Proven track record of leadership and management in a laboratory.

Strong understanding of Lean principles and experience in process optimization.

Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.

Commitment to safety and a strong safety record.

Financial acumen with budget management experience.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Fluency in Dutch and English is essential for this role, given the location and international nature of the organization.
