The Vice President Innovation oversees and implements changes in approaches, methods, products, and processes to enhance competitiveness and improve organizational efficiencies. She/he identifies, strategize, develops, and drive transformative initiatives and champion the role of innovation by aligning overall business strategy with innovative thinking.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities In this role, you will: Cultivate a vision, culture and process that capitalizes on current and future market momentum within the International Division and supports our OpCo’s with ideation, design and development of their innovation pipeline and launch of new products and solutions. Both leverage the (addressable) market data, technology & market trends and customer insights as also dive deep at OpCo level how to translate this into growth opportunities for the resp. OpCo. As a member of the International Leadership Team and a strategic partner to the President International and the OpCo MD’s/ Leadership teams the Vice-President define, embody, and empower the International Innovation’s pipeline and culture, with oversight of our product/solutions, design, technology and market data. Scale, motivate high-output teams, and cultivate a creative and passionate Innovation mindset and culture. Be a hands-on leader who is able to lead by example. The Vice President of Innovation will lead the way strengthening our culture, teams and processes to harness our trusted relationships with our customers and bring new solutions to market. Be creative and tenacious in solution development and growing our International Division innovation pipeline.

Key Functional Competencies You possess the following: Organizational Leadership: together with the President International, International LT and the OpCo Leadership Teams, create a comprehensive long-term innovation strategy for the International Division and lead the International innovation strategy that fulfills our mission of the number one player in building products and solutions with a winning portfolio delivering at least 20% EBITDA and double digit growth year on year. Developing, strategizing, and planning new interventions that will drive innovation as also reporting on and adapting innovative interventions within the International Division, as required. Meeting with key stakeholders at different levels to identify areas of innovation and growth, as also advizing management on yearly, medium-term, long-term, and future innovation goals, presenting new ideas and approaches to high-level stakeholders. Identify technology and market trends and lead International Division’s efforts to understand the market (potential), tap market opportunity that generates high margin growth opportunities for our OpCo’s and create standard work for Product & solutions strategy and execution Develop and lead the execution of the International Division Innovation and product/solutions strategy. Run an efficient and inclusive process at International Division and OpCo level for defining and updating the Opco product & Solutions strategy and co-shape the OpCo innovation pipeline and product & solutions development and go-to-market implementation. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, standard work, processes and delivery across International Division’s OpCo’s.

Experience / Education You are/have: University Degree in Engineering (Mech. or Electrical) or in a related discipline, MBA preferred. You have 10+ years of experience leading innovation/technology strategy and implementations. Significant experience with technology-driven innovation programs, thought leadership, and strategic communications Exceptional visionary, marketing and communications skills Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and compellingly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of writing experience on emerging technologies and trends. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Self-motivated with a track record of delivering success while operating within a fast-paced team environment. Fluency in English is imperative for this position. Executive presence
