As Global Functional Lead in Market Ready Solutions you will be responsible for ensure that the Regional Market Ready Solutions Quality Systems are compliant with associated regulations and dsm-firmenich policies. Ensure that the corresponding supply chain processes (including purchasing, tolling, manufacturing and distribution processes) meet the applicable GMP requirements regarding product safety. Develops and implements QMS processes, SOPs and product documentation to support the Health, Nutrition & Care strategy. Provides quality-technical expertise and serves as an expert to the organization regarding finished products produced, including dietary supplements, OTC, and food products. Responsible to stay aware of industry challenges and provide realistic solutions to maintain compliance and service customers.

Your key responsibilities

Establish Global systems which are to be implemented within the MRS regions which support product release or rejection in full compliance with applicable GMP’s, DSM-F’s Management Directives, & industry best practices.

Fosters a sense of community amongst regional MRS Q managers where open and honest communication will lead to sharing of best practices as well as troubleshooting issues in collaborative fashion.

Representing the quality function in the MRS Project Team (MARS), providing operational updates and support development of overall MRS operating model.

Ensure that all applicable Management Directives are authored in way that incorporates MRS ways of working and are appropriate for the business model.

Establish and implement MRS internal audit team and audit plan of regional processes to ensure that systems are adequate. Serve as lead internal auditor.

Ensure implementation of applicable BG directives, ISO and GMP guidelines, as deemed applicable.

Establish risk-based audit plan for all 3PM’s and coordinate Global MRS 3PM Audits to leverage resources in regions. Support regional audit requests on as needed basis.

You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required. Master’s Degree preferred.

Fluency in English and Spanish

Previous experience in managing a Quality Assurance or Quality Control organization is preferred with particular experience in dietary supplement, food, or pharmaceutical space.

Experience managing a QMS under ISO requirements.

Experience as a people manager with experience managing both direct and indirect reports.

Certified lead auditor for cGMP audits and previous experience with supplier qualification, authoring and approving quality agreements, establishing product specifications.

Ability to work across multiple cultures and time zones in the effort to build strong Quality Management Systems
