are delighted to partner up with a leading consultancy firm dedicated to supporting economic research and policy advice, capacity building, and knowledge transfer in a wide range of climate and energy policy topics, with clients ranging from European institutions. Our client hires and develops the most passionate people in sustainability and is currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Green Finance Expert to join Green Finance Team based in Rotterdam. You will support the green finance team in expanding project portfolio in green finance policy development and advisory support across the financial instruments and green finance advisory. Your challenge: As Senior Expert Green Finance, you have profound knowledge of existing and innovative financial instruments, and interest in green finance advisory work for public sector client and (public) financial institutions, strong analytical capabilities, an eye for detail, the willingness to go that extra mile if necessary, and are keen on operating in multidisciplinary & international project teams. To be successful in this role, you will have: Completed master’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Relevant professional work experience in a similar field (e.g. consultancy, think-tank or other (policy-) research organisation). Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating project teams. Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of consultancy projects as well as acquisition in the required areas of expertise, and a good network of established contacts with relevant stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of existing and innovative financial instruments for the green transition, such as EU budgetary funds & programmes, EIB financial products, EU sustainable finance framework, and experience working on methods such as (EU) policy assessments, impact analyses and cost-benefit analyses.
