EMEA Compliance Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated EMEA Compliance Analyst to join our Data Analytics team and take the lead in enhancing our Payment Compliance processes and adherence to other regulatory requirements.

This role will play a pivotal part in supporting business critical programs, particularly those related to compliance. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of 1-2 analysts to ensure effective and efficient operations.

What You'll Do

Enhance Payment Compliance Analytics: Develop and implement strategies to improve our Payment Analytics processes (KYB, KYC), including monitoring, reporting, and auditing procedures

Ensure GDPR and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements by conducting regular audits, reviewing policies and procedures, and implementing necessary changes

Support Critical Programs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business critical programs, with a focus on compliance-related initiatives (such as driver approval processes, document approval etc.)

Manage the Compliance Team: Lead and mentor a small team of 1-2 analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and productivity

What You'll Need

MSc degree in Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics or another quantitative field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance analytics

Strong understanding of payment compliance (KYC, KYB) requirements, GDPR, and other relevant regulations

Experience with developing data products and dashboards

Proven experience in managing compliance programs and leading cross-functional initiatives

Advanced SQL and solid Python skills

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and develop practical solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualification

Experience in managing a small team preferred
