Data Analyst

to join a global company in Amsterdam. Our client is a multinational conglomerate that designs and sells ready-to-assemble furniture, kitchen appliances, and home accessories. They are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to strengthen the delivery of insights in the Fulfilment Forecasting and Planning area within the Fulfilment and Core Services domain

Role Overview

The focus of the role is to discover insights and develop analytical hypotheses about the logistics planning processes and the digital products built to support them.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for exploring, preparing, and rigorously analysing various data sources in Google Cloud, as well as studying fulfilment flows within the company's supply chain.

The role requires excellent communication skills to identify key factors impacting logistic operations and presenting data and insights in a clear and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

A master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics or a related field

3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the logistics sector

Excellent communication skills, with good command of the English language

Self-organized and able to work independently, while collaborating proactively with others in a team and the wider organization

Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, JupyterLab

Python skills for data analysis and visualization

Desirable Skills

Strong knowledge/experience of advanced analytics in the logistics sector

Experience working with cross-functional teams consisting of product owners, data scientists, software engineers and business partners

Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling techniques

Conditions:

Working model: 2-3 days/week at the office in Amsterdam

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Contract: B2B/ LTD or PAYE

Rate: €463 daily rate on a B2/LTD contract
