We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Specialist Treasury Reporting to join our Tax & Treasury Reporting team. The position will be based in Amsterdam and will assist the team in maintaining an IFRS-compliant global treasury accounting and reporting process, while providing technical expertise and solid treasury accounting analyses to all internal stakeholders. JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES Partnering with Global Treasury and the wider finance community by providing solid analyses in support of decision making and planning processes relative to treasury; Prepare and present various insightful Treasury analyses to senior leadership at corporate and regional levels; Establish/ maintain a robust governance structure for the accounting, analysis and reporting of the core treasury activities. The effectiveness of the Treasury Control Framework shall be ensured through proper systems, processes and people in place. Accountable for analyzing & providing technical accounting advisory on treasury topics as well as ensuring solid systems and processes are in place to execute accordingly. These include (non-limitative) areas like cash management & cash pools, historical & forecasted cash flows / cash flow statements, medium and long-term funding, financial risk management & modeling, various types of financial and derivative instruments along with the IFRS valuation methodologies thereof, credit ratings as applied by rating agencies and debt covenants. Providing expert know how, guidance and trainings regarding treasury accounting and reporting in compliance with IFRS; Preparing technical position papers and liaising with SABIC’s external auditors for the review/ audit of treasury positions in its financial statements; Preparing the treasury related disclosure notes in SABIC’s financial reporting; MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Academic degree in accounting or finance 12+ years relevant experience in an international environment Combination of Big 4 and corporate experience preferred Expert in treasury accounting Strong communication and analytical thinking Team player with effective influencing skills Good working knowledge of SAP, BPC and treasury systems Fluent in English, additional language skills, like Arabic, are a plus FURTHER INFORMATION Interested in this position?
