Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: This role is part of the non-executive compensation and benefits team in the global Total Rewards function, reporting to the Director of Non-Executive Compensation and Benefits. There are dozen people in the team with colleagues in China, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, United Kingdom and the United States of America. We work closely with colleagues in the HR function, finance, legal, procurement and business leaders generally. This role will be based in our new European Headquarters in Amsterdam. JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES The purpose of this job is to: manage the delivery of SABIC non-executive compensation and benefit programs; assess the effectiveness of the strategy through analysis of costs, benchmarks, peer company data & HR master data, prepares and improves C&B policies and practices to attract and retain employees in line with other HR processes; pro-actively ensure and manage that SABIC has sound governance for compensation and benefits; and to support the HR team globally with compensation and benefit matters. The key accountabilities are: Evaluation/analysis of the effectiveness of C&B programs leading to recommendations for improvement includes regular reporting. Annual benchmarking and other market research such as peer company analysis to drive the right global C&B actions and decisions. Incl. the preparation & follow up of the local / regional legislation regarding pay transparency & pay equity. Making proposals for changes to salary ranges/ scales and annual merit increase budgets for professional & paraprofessional populations. Assisting in operation of cycle for salary increases and bonus payments. Development and improvement of C&B brochures, guidebooks, web pages. Communicating about C&B to employees, HR colleagues and managers through meetings, training sessions etc. Assisting in evaluation of jobs. Developing and improving IT systems and offline tools to support C&B processes. Advising the M&A team on C&B matters - in particular pensions, incentives and due diligence. Coaching junior members of the C&B team MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management or a scientific/ engineering/ numerical discipline. Ideally certification in Compensation & Benefits or Reward. At least 10 years of professional experience in global/ multinational companies, with a minimum of 5 years in C&B roles. English Language is a must. Key competencies are: Compensation and Benefits, Analytic Thinking, HRIT, Emotional Intelligence, Business Acumen and Global Outlook.
