This internship is the ideal way to gain practical experience in portfolio management in the Venture Capital and Sustainable Investing industries. This internship offers plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and find an exciting Thesis / Professional Project topic. You will be assisting in the development and implementation of ESG integration methodologies, processes and tools, in the assessment of the sustainability performance of early-stage technology based portfolio companies, and in the periodic reporting of the impact generated by the investments made by our Energy, AgriFood and Emerging Tech. .

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain & improve ESG integration and Impact methodologies and policies.

Develop, document, manage and improve tools and processes to screen, select, assess, monitor and score portfolio companies sustainability performance and impact.

Develop and follow-up on sustainability improvement actions based on portfolio companies’ ESG performance periodic assessments.

Assist in the preparation of ESG related investor reporting and other regulatory disclosures (e.g. Rockstart Annual Impact reports, SFDR Pre-contractual and Product Periodic disclosures).

Administration in general.

Must have requirements :

Pursuing a BSc/MSc degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or other related fields;

Proficiency of ESG frameworks, such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

Understanding of relevant ESG regulations and reporting requirements, such as the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive, Sustainability-related disclosure in the financial services sector (SFDR), and EU Taxonomy.

Strong data analysis and quantitative skills, with expertise in data manipulation, interpretation, and visualization.

A desire to learn about the venture capital industry, tech startups, and entrepreneurship;

Strong ability to take on responsibility and work independently with a results-oriented attitude;

Well developed social and interpersonal skills, strong relationship management skills;

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English;
