to the Head of BIM Finance & Investment Analysis

in an international, challenging business setting known for diversity and high paced environment. You will act as guardian of large scale and strategic Capex investments in APMT.

Be a strategic Business Partner to APMT Head of Business Implementation and Functional Heads of Design & Engineering, Project Execution and Business Integration, supporting underlying function in improving delivery of approved growth projects under scope while maximizing company ROIC.

Drive successful implementation of finance function and processes of new terminal additions (greenfield, brownfield or through M&A) until handover the terminal when ramp-up is completed.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Finance business partner / general Act as a trusted, visible and accessible point of contact to Head of Business Implementation (BIM) and his/her business leaders; providing financial decision support; challenge and insight into business feasibility to drive future performance.

Be a member of the BIM Function leadership team

Understand the customer landscape (including but not limited with project execution, asset engineering, and business integration) and their numerous, complex drivers to provide project execution, project optimization recommendations, ensuring an acceptable balance of risk and return.

Accountable for the budgets, forecasts and performance management that are within the control of APMT/APMM.

Accountable for the content in the various reporting request from APMT or APMM during the project execution phase

Understand the value drivers of the business and provide guidance on project performance including ROIC, CAPEX, FCF, IRR, scenario planning, KPI analysis and benchmarking.

Provide challenge and decision support for new business and ongoing projects.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders through the sharing of knowledge and collaboration.

Champion working as part of a virtual team with the business and group Finance to embed and sustain an efficient operating model.

Project execution Manage/streamline/provide

financial information and analysis, hereunder information for decision making to support ongoing projects

Drive & improve the business performance management cycle including project/product performance reviews

In close coordination with the terminal CFOs and project teams on the ground, coordinate the forecasting processes, e.g. rolling forecast, annual budgets and long-term business planning.

Drive performance and continuous improvement by ensuring that project budgets and approved governance structure for program budgets and expenditures for different projects are adhered to in accordance with the long-term business plan.

Drive capex forecast (Value of Work Done and cash flow of investment) accuracy improvements

Actively participate in project delivery by driving performance management in the project teams

Follow up with the projects/products deviations versus planning and ensure there is an understanding of why and that actions are taken

Develop financial policies, standard procedures and guidelines within the area of responsibility, including financial management and reporting.

Responsible for effective execution of Investment Follow Up (IFU) according to the framework

Identify project de-risking options and provide suggestions to Head of PE and/or Head of technical Organization

Ensure proper accounting of project costs are in compliance with capitalization guidelines as per APMM GAAP

Coordinates with Global treasury and tax team and terminal CFO to ensure tax and funding optimization

Assume the relevant steerco role in integration projects as necessary

Prepare scale up plans for the team to be able to deliver increased project load

Greenfield projects Act as dotted line manager for Head of Finance's of new greenfield terminal projects

Plan and execute finance implementation plan (implementation of a finance organization, governance setup, performance management system, etc.) together with terminal Head of Finance

Manage stakeholder management with JV partners associated to funding and any other financial matters

Assume the relevant board role in greenfield projects as necessary

Act as trusted partner to the relevant terminal, regional MD and head of BIM in respect to financial decisions at the greenfield terminal

Governance and compliance Ensure project governance principles (including but not limited to contingency management) is followed, global- and project authority matrixes are adhered

Participate in installing an active risk management process for the projects by working with the project/product teams on the ground

Leadership Manage a team direct Finance Business Partner resources and indirect resources via global service center

Develop talent for and ensure engagement

Be responsible to create an inclusive work environment within the team

Agility mindset to scale organization to business need

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? BS degree in finance, Accounting or Business Economics.

7+ year experience in large scale and/or integrated projects

7+ years’ experience in developing business cases and financial models

10+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Controlling or Consultancy roles.

Experience in an asset-heavy industry would be an advantage

Experience in establishing finance function would be an advantage

Strategic mindset, able to contribute to strategy definition and to translate high level strategy into practical implementation

Entrepreneurial drive to explore and materialize business opportunities

Stakeholder management skills, able to engage all levels of the business

Change management skills, understanding the principles and actions underpinning successful implementation of change

Analytical skills, able to collect and analyze information, problem-solve and make decisions

Management skills, able to manage a team over different locations, keeping them aligned and engaged
